Mrs Sharon Ikeazor, All Progressives Congress (APC) Interim National Women Leader, has reconfirmed the commitment of the APC to initiate policies and programs aimed at boosting the national economy. She said this to the News Agency of Nigeria on Monday in Abuja.
Ikeazor said the decision of the party to design sound policies was part of the reasons some political parties merged.
She claimed that the party would offer good governance and improve the social and economic conditions of Nigerians if voted into office in 2015, and encouraged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure free and fair elections in 2015.
Besides, Ikeazor urged the committee on the review of the 1999 Constitution to accord priority attention to the welfare of Nigerians. "All hands must be on deck to ensure Nigerians enjoy the dividends of democracy,” she said.
