Legal practitioner Solomon has condemned criticism and remarks by his some of his colleagues on the state of emergency declared by President Goodluck Jonathan in three northern states.

President Jonathan is criticised for the delay in sending a gazette on the emergency rule to the National Assembly as stipulated by the constitution, but according Mr Solomon Osadolor, the critics are “just being unnecessarily rigid.”

Mr Osadolor argues that procedures (dictates of the constitution) can be streamlined so that the subject matter is actualised.

An emotionally charged Mr was a guest on Channels TV breakfast programme, Sunrise Daily.
