ACN Vows To Upstage PDP In 2015

Action Congress of Nigeria has vowed to upstage the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2015 general elections. National Treasurer of the ACN, Chief Kenneth Kobani, said on Tuesday that unfolding events had shown that Nigerians were ready for a change.

Kobani, who spoke with our correspondent in a telephone interview, argued that the ACN governor had performed better than their PDP counterparts. He said Nigerians were becoming more enlightened on issues concerning their future and were ready to go the extra mile to effect a change in the next three years.

“Apart from Lagos State, other ACN states do not receive as high as what most PDP states get as monthly allocations. But with the performance, it is obvious that the ACN has been more prudent than the PDP. Making reference to the governorship election in Edo State, Kobani said Governor Adams Oshiomhole deserved his victory based on his performance.

“The Edo governorship election is a pointer to the fact that power belong to the people and not any godfather. This message and mindset is what Nigerians will take to the elections in 2015.”
