Convener, Coalition of Democrats for Electoral Reform, Chief Ayo Opadokun has said that President Goodluck Jonathan lacked the capability to fight corruption successfully.
He stated that there was no will or commitment by the Federal Government to fight corruption in the country.
In an interview with journalists in Ilorin on Tuesday, he said Jonathan would be committing suicide if he ventured actively fight corruption.
He called for the restructuring of Nigeria to address what he termed some of the imbalances and concerns in the polity. “I don’t believe President Jonathan can fight corruption.
I am not saying this for the first time. I have been very straightforward and consistent about my position. I have no doubt in my mind that the factor that produced him is corruption-soaked and corruption-laden.”
