Briefing newsmen at the party’s secretariat, Aliyu reaffirmed that "any member of the party that takes it to court should consider himself dismissed from the party. This was in line with the provision of our constitution and we will always stick to it."

Those dismissed include Amiru Idris Bakori, Alhaji Aminu Ashiru Mani, Alhaji Murtala Isa Kankara, Alhaji Muntari Muhammad Dandutse and Alhaji Muhammad Tukur Abba Sada Katsina. Others were Alhaji Tasi’u Doguru, Alhaji Musa Salisu Kafin-Soli, Dr. Umar Katsayal, Alhaji Umar Abdu Dankama and Alhaji Jamilu Abubakar Danmusa, the present commissioner of youths and sports.

Aliyu also announced the dissolution of party’s executives at both wards and local governments of the state, but the dissolution does not affect the seven local governments of Danja, Bakori, Danmusa, Safana, Kurfi, Sandamu and Batsari.

He said the seven exempted local governments have conducted their elections not quite a long.

The chairman also reaffirmed the dismissal of Dr. Yusha’u Armaya’u and the six commissioners, who accepted appointment in the PDP-led government in Katsina.

He said a five-member committee has been inaugurated by the party to man the affairs of the party in the remaining 28 local governments where the party dissolved its executives.

Responding, one of the affected party members, Alhaji Muntari Muhammad Dandutse, described his dismissal as unconstitutional and useless, saying "I did not even recognize Farouq as CPC chairman in Katsina; the true party chairman is Dr. Yusha’u Armaya’u."
