The Kaduna chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has sent an open memo to Governor Nasir El-Rufai.
Interestingly, the memo is coming few days after the governor's memo to President Muhammadu Buhari was leaked to the press.
The memo was authored by Ahmed Tijani Ramalan, the head of the APC state caucus in Kaduna state.
Ramalan wrote: ''We are approaching the mid-term of your administration as the executive governor of APC controlled state, government of Kaduna state.
''The party is docile in its statutory duties and activities as a political party, no excos, and stakeholders meetings from the ward to state levels.
''Most stakeholders and members are feeling used and dumped and lack of consultations in decision making processes as it affects the party at the local, state and national levels.
''The party at the state levels needs to be properly constituted and cacancies filled as urgent including the Kaduna state vacant seat of National officer in the APC NWC through special congresses before the national conventions.''
The memo urged Governor El-Rufai to facilitate and put in place a reconciliatory process to bring back all aggrieved members of the APC under one structure in preparation for the forth-coming local government elections in the state.
The memo also called for an emergency stakeholders/caucus meeting to advice all party members to bury their hatchet in the interest of the APC.
Meanwhile, Senator Shehu Sani, the senator representing Kaduna state senatorial district has accused Governor El-Rufai of trying to gather sympathy for himself as atrying to gather sympathy for himself as a 'competent alternative' to President Buhari in 2019.
