Nnamani is now official member of the All Progressives Progress (APC) after defecting from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He declared that his former party which he denounced about one year ago, is now dead, unproductive and unprofitable.

Nnamani has also been officially given his membership card of the APC by the party's national registration committee.

The former senator's defection follows a massive wave of defection which hit the PDP in Enugu state as many of the members of the party have defected to the rival party APC.

A former governor of old Anambra state, Chief Jim Nwobodo, former Speaker, Enugu state House of Assemby, Hon. Eugene Odo, and a host of others, were part of the top members of the PDP that moved grounds.

This recent defection, has led to uncertainty for the future of the PDP in the state. The state chairman of APC, Dr Ben Nwoye said the PDP was now dead and buried as a result of this defection.
