President Buhari has met with leaders of various african states during his visit to Banjul for ECOWAS Mediation mission in Gambia on Friday, January 13.
Taking on the role of the mediator Buhari is scheduled to meet with President Yahya Jammeh and President-elect Adama Barrow to continue dialogue on the political situation in Gambia.
Among other high-ranking negotiators are President of Liberia H.E. Ellen Sirleaf Johnson, former President of Ghana H.E. John Dramani Mahama, Vice President of Gambia H.E. Isatou Njie-Saidy and Chairperson of the Authority of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government, President Ernest Koroma of Sierra Leone.
The meeting was held at the State House during the High Level UN/AU/ECOWAS Joint Mission.
