Jibrin says the APC leadership under John Odigie-Oyegun has been unfair to Timi Frank

Jibrin, the House of Representatives member representing Kuru/Bebeji federal constituency in Kano state, tweeted on Thursday, November 24 that it was highly unfair of the party to consider sending Frank parking after denying him his rights for so long.

According to him, the actions of the party's leadership led by John Odigie-Oyegun were ‘unfair and unjust’.

Jibrin, who was recently suspended by the leadership of the House of Reps for blowing the whistle on the budget padding scandal about four months ago, has become a famous name synonymous with anti-corruption and fairness.

While not a big party member, Jibrin's worldwide acclaim could make his attack on the party more lethal for its image even as the APC crisis deepens.

NAIJ.com recalls that a committee set up by the south-south region of the APC found Timi Frank guilty of anti-party activities after he severally publicly accused the John Odigie-Oyegun leadership of failing to stabilise the party that has been plagued by crisis.

Frank supported the position of APC national leader Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the motion that Oyegun should resign while he also called for his (Frank's) installation as the party's national publicity secretary as pre-planned before the exit of Lai Mohammed who is now the minister of information and culture.
